When a young man is threatened by a few men, he ends up fighting with them and getting on their bad side. Things take a turn when they set out to seek revenge from him.

In the movie, the names of the main protagonists are kept a secret.
Sri portrays an educated peasant who travels to Chennai for a job interview with a BPO. The HR representative there is Regina Cassandra. Regina does not have a romantic interest in Sundeep Kishan, despite the fact that he has been stalking her since they were in college.
A couple nasty, boisterous men threaten Sundeep when he enters Regina's office the day of the interview, telling him that they will throw acid on her face if he stalks her and she gives him a positive response. They also show him the face of a girl and describe how the men attacked her with acid because she showed no interest in them.
Sri succeeds in the interview and enters a bar with his pals. Sundeep and the person Sundeep punched are also present in the same establishment. Later, the rowdy men who had extorted Sundeep hire three more rowdies to beat him up. However, they warn these hired ruffians that if they remain, he might flee. They then go, claiming Sundeep is the man with the red shirt with checks.
When Sri exits the bar at that same moment, they mistake him for the target, beat him, and steal his bag (which contains his original credentials) and phone. One of the thugs takes the phone while throwing the bag into the taxi. A don by the name of P. K. Pandian alias owns the taxi as a rental vehicle.
The cab driver Charle borrows a vehicle from PKP in order to help support his asthmatic son financially. He is a newcomer to the area. He quickly locates the certificates and presents them to the police department.
The following morning, Sri awakens to find himself laying on the highway. He phones a buddy, and the friend drives him to his house. Sri gets ready there before heading to his employment to explain the matter with the lost certificates.
Sundeep, who claims to be headed to Regina's firm for a job interview, takes the same bus as the person he hit. He intends to use acid to assault the man in order to make him pay for his actions.
Inadvertently passing the acid bottle to Sundeep was Sri, who is also travelling in the same bus. Sundeep then successfully foils the attack and escapes with his buddies. As Sri passes the acid container, the police detain him. Sri asserts that he is innocent and that the Police should not conduct this investigation notwithstanding the Police Inspector's negative remarks about him. The Inspector gets enraged by this and strikes him. A police officer steps in and leads Sri to a neighbouring tea shop. Another person enters the room as they are talking. Sri was asked to pass the acid bottle by this other man inside the bus. When Sri recognises him, the constable brings him right away to the station. Sri's credentials are also included in then same police .
