The sites now have access to the movie in a variety of file sizes, quality and file types, going up to 4K resolution. However, most of them appear to be taken from the streaming site HBO Max itself.

Leaks first surfaced with shoddy CAM prints that were filmed inside a projection theatre that looked terrible, based on the screenshots that were on the site. But don't think for once that downloading this movie for free won't have any costs.

Why is it extremely unsafe for downloading torrents?

Cyber attackers know how desperately people want to see the fourth instalment in the most critically acclaimed sci-fi franchise and that's how they trap their victims.

Most torrent files often come with infected files that can cause catastrophic damage to your system's hardware and software. Malware can infect your computer and allow complete access to the hacker and you could be looking at losing a lot more than what you'd spend on a movie ticket or a Blu-Ray disc.

In case you've forgotten, downloading torrent files infringes on the copyright of the movie makers. Piracy is illegal in India and several torrent sites have already been banned by ISPs to prevent this.

Even if you manage to download the file, you should know that what you're doing is nothing short of theft in a store, and the cops can put you behind bars for conducting such acts of piracy.

Yes, it's true that with Omicron cases skyrocketing, one would think twice to enter a movie screening hall. But if you're an advent movie buff, you'd rather wait for the genuine Blu-Ray disc to drop for the movie to come on one of the streaming sites rather than watch it illegally.

One must remember that people who are behind the movie deserve to earn and if we keep illegally downloading stuff, we might not get to see another Matrix, since making one won't be as financially viable for the movie makers.
