Competition: Two family passes to Ayrshire charity Elf movie screening up for grabs

A special movie showing in the name of charity is a sure-fire way to spread some Christmas cheer this festive season.

And two lucky families-of-four are in with a chance of winning free tickets to a screening of Elf next weekend.

Whiteleys Retreat will be showing Elf at Ayr Town Hall on Sunday, November 28.

Elf tells the story of loveable Buddy, a human, who is raised amongst elves at the North Pole.

When he discovers that he is not an elf, he travels to New York to search for his biological father.

Join Buddy on his hilarious and heart-warming adventure to the Big Apple to find his dad, as he travels through the sea of swirly-twirly gum drops, makes friends along the way and of course tries some delicious treats- because elves love sugar.

Maxine Allan BEM, Chief Executive of Whiteleys, said: "We are excited to start off the Christmas season with some festive fun for all the family.

"Thanks to Ayr Film Society and South Ayrshire Council, we are able to hold our first ever Christmas Movie Screening of Elf the Movie at Ayr Town Hall.
