Chennai: Actor Rajinikanth, who was admitted to a hospital in Chennai Thursday night, is said to be doing fine and is likely to be discharged in a day or two.
While his family said he went to hospital for 'routine check-up', sources said he was admitted after he reported uneasiness. 'His condition is stable now and he is taking rest under the observation of doctors,' sources added.
V M Sudhakar, administrator of the All India Rajinikanth Fans Club, took to Twitter to say that Rajinikanth was doing fine. 'Thalaivar ( #Rajinikanth ) is fine. Don't believe rumours,' he said in a terse post.
