Android phones running on Android 2.3.7 operating system
Affected iphone devices effective from Feb
2020:
iPhones running
on iOS 7 will not support WhatsApp February 1, 2020, onwards.
The
updated FAQs noted that users of Android phones running on Android 2.3.7
version and iPhones running on iOS 7 "can no longer create new accounts,
nor re-verify existing accounts" after February 1, 2020.
