Where were the oldest human remains found?

Homo erectus had already spread around one million years ago throughout Africa and non - Arctic Eurasia before Homo sapiens.
Fossils found at Jebel Irhoud, Morocco, about 300,000 years old, are the oldest known evidence for anatomically modern humans (as of 2017).
